Vera Waldrep Langston, 88, of Spartanburg, died on Monday morning, August 28, 2023, at Valley Falls Terrace. She was born on February 4, 1935, in Spartanburg County, a daughter to the late George and Maude Jenkins Waldrep.

Vera was a member of Inman First Baptist Church. She graduated from Spartanburg Junior College and enjoyed a career as a medical transcriptionist.

Surviving are her daughters, Debbie Bryant, Pam Scully, and Terri Floyd; her four grandchildren, Michael Bryant (Courtney), Shannon Bennett (Hunter), Chad Floyd, and Patrick Scully (Mary); her three great-grandchildren, Shelby, Raelyn, and Jackson Bennett.

A private service for the family will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staffs of Valley Falls Terrace and Wren Hospice for the tender and loving care given to our mother.
