Reba Turner Millwood, 84, of Spartanburg, passed peacefully Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum. A native of Spartanburg, she was born on May 14, 1939, a daughter of the late Roy and Beulah Shields Turner and was the wife of the late Charles William Millwood.
She was a 1957 graduate of Pacolet High School, attended Spartanburg General Hospital School of Nursing, retired from Dillard’s Department Store and was a follower of the Methodist faith.
Surviving is a son, Charles (Chuck) William Millwood II of Woodruff; daughter, Crystal (Crissy) Millwood Vess (Keith) of Spartanburg; granddaughter, Caroline Renee Christopherson (Rodney) of Cowpens; great granddaughters, Opal Christopherson and Birdy Christopherson; brother, Robert Turner of Spartanburg; her four-legged baby “Sophie” and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Buddy Turner, Harold Turner, Carroll Turner, Bill Turner, Kathleen Seay, Elizabeth Cook, Joyce Hall and her four-legged baby “Cloe”.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier. The family will receive friends at the graveside.
