Mrs. Judith Wright Pruitt, 78, of Duncan, died Monday, September 18, 2023, at her home. She was born on April 25,1945, a daughter of the late Frances Edward and Olive Virginia Maynor Wright.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, honored in 1990 as the Outstanding Woman of the Upstate and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael Scott Pruitt; daughters, Michell Pruitt Cantrell of Walhalla, and Virginia Pruitt Yarger (Tim) of Duncan; grandchildren, Miranda Wiggins, Curtis Wiggins, Tony Yarger; and step grandson, Timothy Yarger.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 pm Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Floyd’s North Church Street, Chapel, 235 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. A cryptside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum conducted by the Rev. Eddie Burris.
