Sheila Pettit Administrative Assistant/Obituary Desk
Sheila began with Floyd’s in December of 2010, having most recently lived in Fort Myers, Florida, but was born and raised in Ohio. She is very skilled in software and information technology which makes her very well suited to the position she has with us which requires a certain accuracy and relies heavily on computer and internet based solutions. Her duties are of the most time sensitive nature handling the drafting, editing and submission of obituary notices in papers all over the country. She also posts them to our website. Sheila is also responsible for the entering of information online that ultimately goes to the Health Department (DHEC) to generate Certified Death Certificates.
Patricia R. Fowler Administrative Assistant
Tricia came to us in March of 2013 after many years in the Manufacturing and Banking world. She assists us in the Front Office at our N. Church Street location where she handles many different clerical responsibilities. Tricia helps us keep "everything in its place"!
Susan Anderson Administrative Assistant
Susan joined us in April of 1994 and has been a great asset every since. Although born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she graduated from Limestone College in Gaffney, S.C. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She also obtained an Associate Administrative Secretarial Degree from Spartanburg Community College. She worked for 25 years in sales prior to joining Floyd's. She's a member of the Uptown Sertoma Club, the Nautilus Fitness Center and a past member of the Fairforest Garden Club. She attends The First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and enjoys traveling to the Beach and the Mountains and spending time with family and friends.
Robin Price Aftercare Specialist
Robin was born in Johnstown, PA and was raised in Buies Creek, NC. She moved to the Spartanburg area in 1985. She has been with Floyd's since 2001. She and her husband Vernon L. "Roy" Price and her son Ryan live just inside the Cherokee County Line. She is a member of Spartanburg First Baptist Church, where she can often be found playing the harp during worship services.
She along with her husband Roy on violin and Ryan on oboe often provide entertainment for a variety of events. Robin's duties at Floyd's consists of ordering certified copies of death certificates and notifying families upon their arrival, assists with filing life insurance and Social Security claims, as well as advising families in regards to probate court. She and her family share their home with 2 cats, 4 birds, and 3 fish.
