Vonna Barnette

Vonna Jean Gibson Barnette, 64, of Wellford, SC, died Thursday, June 3, 2021, at her home. Born March 7, 1957 in Ft Campbell, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Leonard Gibson and Martha Jean Gibson.

Mrs. Barnett was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Sonya Horton of Welford, SC; brothers, Danny Gibson of Johnson City, TN, and Bryan Lands of Spartanburg, SC; grandsons, Tyler and Bryson Barnette. She was predeceased by her brother Bobby Joe Gibson.

Visitation will be held 12:00-1:30 PM Monday, June, 7, 2021 at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Graveside service will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, Conducted by Rev. Jerry Henson.
