Victoria Annette Gidaro, 72, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died on Sunday, October 3, 2021 after a long, hard fought battle with MSA. She was the daughter of Victor Gidaro and Ann Johnson, who preceded her in death.
Victoria was a Nurse for 35 years, the last eight as a Nurse Practitioner. She saved lives in both ICU and as a NP at Wellford Family practice. She taught nursing at USC-Spartanburg, as well as serving as a Captain in the US Army Reserve where she saw active duty during Desert Shield/Storm.
While nursing was her identity, travel was her passion. She visited six of the seven continents and 45 of our beautiful states. But above all she loved cruising the best! She traveled on 30 cruises in total.
Survivors include her daughter, Edie Brown (Rob), her grandchildren, Justin Brown and Anna Ciejek (Michael), and one great-grandson, Trent N. Mann. She was anticipating the arrival of a new great-grandson, Westley Nathaniel Ciejek.
Visitation will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM at the chapel. Final resting place will be in Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Roebuck, SC.
Victoria requested that those attending the service come comfortably dressed, and kindly, no black attire.
