Obituary

Stephen Todd Dillard, 49, of Chesnee, SC passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Born December 16, 1972 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Steve and Alene Dillard of Chesnee and the late Judy Lawter Dillard.

Todd was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, attended Daniel Morgan Vocational Center and Piedmont College of Hair Design. Todd was publisher and graphic designer for The Upstate Shopper, a classified ads newspaper serving Spartanburg. He ran his own website company and more recently worked with Aspire Concierge.

For many years, he served in children’s ministry at church and enjoyed teaching children about Jesus. He was a friend to all and cherished by family.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Allen Dillard and their daughters, Shiloh Dillard and Synclair Dillard of the home, his aunts, Barbara West (Buddy), Emily Henderson and Charlene Parris (Bill) and his uncle, Buddy Lawter (Kim), a stepbrother, Robby LeMaster, his stepsister, Tracy Owens, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also predeceased by his sister Laura Dillard Padgett.

Visitation will be at 2:45 – 3:45 pm Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 4:00 pm, at the chapel, conducted by Pastor Bill Wireman. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
