Rhonda Fleming

Rhonda Kay Fleming, 77, of Fort Mill, SC died Friday, September 16, 2022 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 25, 1944 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Leo Fleming and Irma Louise Hawkins Fleming.

Rhonda was a 1962 graduate of Cowpens High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education at Winthrop College and a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

After teaching and coaching at several secondary schools, Rhonda finished her teaching career at Limestone University in 2021. There she taught for 25 years in the department of Physical Education, Athletic Training and Sports Management.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Annette Dailey (Harvey) of Spartanburg, SC; her nephews, Bryan Dailey (Teresa), Greg Dailey (Jennifer); great niece, Kaylyn; and four great nephews, Noah, Leo, Weston and Beckett.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. David Moore. Visitation to follow at the graveside.
