Myrtle Beavers, 93, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice. Born April 3, 1929, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of James and Madie Honbarger Bailey, and the wife of the late Tommy Beavers.

Myrtle was a simple lady who was always wanting to take care of others. She loved her feline fur-babies, reading western books and watching westerns on the television. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Norma Lunsford of Spartanburg, SC and Susan Tester (Charlie) of Inman, SC, grandsons, Glenn Harvey (Brandi) and Chris Harvey (Melissa); granddaughter, Amanda Byers (Will); great grandchildren, Krista, Bethany, Bailey, and Madison; great-great grandchildren, Jenna, Lillith, Andreana, Macklon, John Henry and Oliver; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Billy Bailey and Mildred Lydia; and her great grandson, William Byers.

Graveside service will be at 3:30 PM Sunday, July 31, 2022 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Rev. Tommy Sparks. Visitation will be prior to the service, starting at 3:00 PM.
