Myra G. Burke

Myra G. Burke, 86, formerly of Roebuck, SC, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Woodruff Manor. Born February 11, 1936, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Howard J. and Martha Jane Gurley Sisk and the wife of the late Albert Douglas Burke.

A faithful servant of her Lord. Myra was devoted, loving, and a caretaker to her family. She was a homemaker of all things good, especially in the kitchen.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa B. Waddle (Ben) of Roebuck, SC and Lori Sellers (Danny) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Cameron, MaKenzie, Tommy (Donna), Tony, and Cheyenne; eight great grandchildren, Avery, Grady, Emily, Jolie, Jayden, Jacob, Kimberly, and Tyler. She was predeceased by a daughter, Teresa G. Haulbrook.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2023, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Kermit Morris. Visitation will follow the graveside service.
