Linda Allen

March 24, 1945 — February 1, 2022

Linda Frady Allen, 76 of Pendleton, SC passed away Tuesday February 1, 2022. Born March 24, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Thomas Floyd Frady and Mildred Blanche Gowens Frady. She was predeceased by a sister Mary Ellen Frady Perry, and a brother Kenneth Floyd Frady.

As a stay at home mother with young children she was known for her wonderful cooking, baking, sewing and crafting. Later she was employed at Clemson University first in the Department of Civil Engineering and afterwards in the Office of the General Counsel from which she retired.

Linda was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church and had sang in the choir and served on various committees throughout the years. She was a talented pianist and had a beautiful singing voice. She was previously a member of the Foothills Chorale in Clemson and more recently had been singing with the Sorelle trio at various venues around the Clemson area.

Linda is survived by her daughter Laurie Binsz of Greenville, SC (Mark), her son John Allen, Jr. of Pendleton, SC , a brother Gerald Douglas Frady of Spartanburg, SC (Gaye), many nieces and nephews and her two grandsons Joshua and Adam Binsz whom she loved dearly-she was affectionately known by them as “Grammie”.

There will be a small graveside service with immediate family on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 2 pm, Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg, SC.
