Jerry Donald

Jerry Dean Donald, 89, of Spartanburg, SC died Monday, April 19, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center – Mary Black Campus. Born April 23, 1932 in Kingsport, TN, he was the son of Everett Dean and Helen Johnson Donald.

A U. S. Army Veteran and University of South Carolina graduate, Mr. Donald was a retired accountant. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Joyce Cromer Donald; sons, Brian Dean Donald (Rita) of Summerville, SC, and Stephen Lawrence Donald (Mandi) of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Addison Donald, Eli Donald, Austin Donald, and Kelsey-Ryan Donald, and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jack Donald.

Graveside services will be held 12 Noon, Friday, April 23, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 conducted by The Rev. Dr. Keith Taylor. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
