Debra Youmans

Debra "Debi" Robertson Youmans, 67, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, April 3, 2021. She was born on November 22, 1953 in Spartanburg, SC, daughter of the late John Calvin Robertson and Wilma Prince Robertson. She was the widow of Michael Shaffer. Surviving is her brother, Steve Robertson (Terry) of Louisville, TN; an aunt, Peggy Harris of Spartanburg; numerous cousins; a special lifelong friend, Susan Kinsland Rowe; and a special friend, Thomas Brewington. Debi was a graduate of Spartanburg High School. She enjoyed reading, birdwatching, and the beach. She was formerly a dental assistant and then an au pair for many years for Dr. and Mrs. Keith Wood. Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Tim Hackett.
