Cynthia "Cindi" Sapp

Cynthia “Cindi” Elaine Ridings Sapp, 65, passed away to be with God on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Born April 25, 1956 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ridings Sr. and Francis Lancaster.

Cindi was retired from the Spartanburg Public Libraries. A long and fulfilling career, she served in numerous administrative capacities.

Cindi dearly loved all of her family, friends and coworkers. She enjoyed traveling and loving life with her husband, spending time with her sons and their families, and being with friends and all of her extended family.

She will be deeply and dearly missed by all that ever knew her.

Beloved daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Randall “Randy” Sapp, two sons, Ronald Brown and Robert Brown, along with their wives, Georgana and Angela, and four dear grandchildren, Logan Brown, Keely Brown, Abram Brown and a predeceased grandchild, Bane Roland Brown. She is also survived by her four siblings, Libby Ridings Pittman, Charles Ridings, Jeff Ridings and Lynn Ridings.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29307 with the Invocation in the visitation room at 7:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of the Library, 151 South Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
