Charles Childs

Charles Jay Childs, 99, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 22, 1921, in Blackburn, OK, he was the son the late Homer John Childs and Dorthea "Dot" Yeager Childs and husband of the late Linda Florence Morrison Childs. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Childs served as a minister for over 65 years. He was of the Wesleyan Methodist faith. A graveside service, with military honors, will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 28, 2020, in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, by The Rev.
