William "Bj" Sigafoos

William Bradley James “BJ” Sigafoos, 26, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born February 20, 1996 in Spartanburg, he is the son of James Sigafoos, Jr. (Jene) and Sarah-Kaye Frierson Dorsey (Mike) and the brother to Brandon Sigafoos and Lainey Sigafoos.

Along with the above, he is survived by his girlfriend, Virsavia Gumenyuk; and special friend, Silviya; his maternal grandparents, Rev. John Frierson and Savon Frierson and paternal grandmother, Donna Sigafoos; along with aunts, uncles, nephews, niece, and extended family to include his half-siblings, Kaitlin Roof, Lee Roof and Harley Roof; step-siblings, Hunter Dorsey, Hannah Dorsey, Holleigh Dorsey and Holden Dorsey.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, James Sigafoos, Sr. and Dian Sigafoos.

William was a good-hearted man whose next reward, following a tragic motorcycle accident, was his giving heart that did not stop until he was able to be a blessing to other individuals who needed a heart, liver and kidneys.

Visitation will be at 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. A Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. at the chapel.

The family will be at their respective homes.
