William Steward

William “Neil” Steward, 60, of Boiling Springs, SC, went home to be with the Lord and Savior Friday, December 23, 2022. Born October 13, 1962, in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Bill and Tootsie Mullinax Steward.

Neil was an IT Specialist. He was witty, endlessly generous, carefree, and laid back. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Neil and Laura were “each other’s person,” married for 39 years.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Lathan Steward of the home; his daughter, Kacie Steward (William Martin) of Moore, SC; grandchildren, Liam Martin and Rosemary Martin; siblings, Christine Mann (Ray) of Grambling, SC, Kay Gardner (Steve) of Chesnee, SC and Michael Steward (Angela) of Inman, SC; a close nephew, David Jernigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be privately held.
