Wayne West

Wayne Dupre West, 56, of Pauline, SC passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Born January 12, 1966, he was the son of Everette “Buddy” West and the late Virginia Dare Groce, the husband of Liza Owens West, and daddy of Olivia West.

Wayne was a simple man, a diamond in the rough. He loved hard and held on tight to everyone and everything he loved. He was a man of firm principles. He was an outdoorsman and loved spending time in nature, riding horses, camping, and guns.

Survivors include his wife, Liza Owens West; daughter, Olivia Morgan West of Pauline; father, Buddy West (Nancy) of Pauline; sisters, Donna Gelotte (Joe) of Roebuck and Tiffany Johnson (B.J.) of Enoree; cousin, Stephen Bolton (Jean) of Pauline; uncle, Troy Groce of Spartanburg, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Virginia Groce.

Visitation will be 5:30 – 7:30 PM on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
