W. Cline

William Frederick Cline Sr., 92, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at his home. Born September 15, 1923, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Peter Kyle and Mary White Cline and husband of the late Dorothy Huntsinger Cline. A U. S. Army Air Force veteran, Mr. Cline served in World War II as a fighter pilot. He was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church and attended Wofford College. Survivors include his son, William "Bill" Frederick Cline Jr. and his wife Karen Fulmer Cline of Pawleys Island, SC; grandson, William Parker Cline of Pawleys Island, SC; and brother, Dexter Vernon Cline of Charlotte, NC. A cryptside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev.
