Voula Karegeannes Singer

Voula Karegeannes Singer, 95, died at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

She is survived by her children, Nicole S. Singer of Spartanburg, SC and George B. Singer of Long Beach, CA; two sisters, Venetta Berenz of Sunset, SC and Ethel Tortorice of Moore, SC; one brother, Maj Gen (Ret.) Harry G. Karegeannes of Bedford, TX; a number of nephews and nieces; and her beloved dog, Pawla T. Singer of Spartanburg, SC.

Voula is predeceased by her parents, George Karegeannes and Katherine Melehes Karegeannes; her brothers, Peter, Gus, and John Karegeannes; her sister, Kay Reed; and her husband, Allen M. Singer, PhD.

A service and private luncheon will be held at the Church of the Advent in Spartanburg, SC, for family and friends at a later date to be announced.

Voula would like to thank everyone who passed through her life - adding to the love, joy, delight, or lessons learned to continue the experience of living.
