Virginia Harvey

Virginia Mae Foster "Bill" Harvey, 89, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Heartland Health Care Center, Union, SC. Born May 1, 1927, in Pacolet, she was the daughter of the late Capris Terry Foster and Hester Eva Plumley Foster and widow of William S. Harvey. Mrs. Harvey was a member of Tate Memorial Baptist Church in Pacolet and was formerly employed with Hamrick's for 11 years. Survivors include her children, Ricky Earl Harvey of Jonesville, SC, Susan Harvey Martin of Spartanburg, SC, and Teri H. Jones of Gaffney, SC; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, John "Pete" Foster of Bridgeport, AL. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Tolya Harvey Garner; a son, William Sullivan "Buddy" Harvey, Jr.; sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Foster, Patsy Joe Foster, Irene Foster Eaton, and Eloise Foster McMillian; and brothers, Gettys Foster, Turene Foster, Leroy Foster, and Buddy Foster. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
