Van Daniel Jurney

Van Daniel Jurney, 75 of Spartanburg South Carolina, entered eternal rest, Wednesday December 27,2023 at his residence. Van was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on December 12, 1948, to the late Lawrence Jurney and Mozelle Combs Jurney.

Van spent most of his working years as a security guard for Spartanburg Medical Center. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Nascar races, any football but his favorite football team was the Carolina Tarheels.

Van is survived by his wife of seventeen years Mrs. Brenda Gail Jurney; his daughters, Heather Jurney, Jennifer Spurlin (Chris), and Christy Hollingsworth (Danny); a son Leon Bradley (Dawn); Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday January 03, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Sunset Memorial Park 1995 Cannons Campground Rd Spartanburg, SC 29307.
