Valerie Johnson

Valerie Johnson, 41, of Frederick, MD, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Spartanburg, SC. Valerie was a U. S. Army veteran and former Federal Police Officer. Surviving are her two daughters, Martika and Sasha Williams, both of Frederick, MD; her mother, Vernell Prater of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Life service honoring her memory will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
