Tommy Hyleman

Thomas E. Hyleman, 78, of 690 Coopertown Road, died Monday, March 23, 2009, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born March 10, 1931, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late John William and Bertie Taylor Hyleman. He was retired from Glyn C. Babb Paint Contractor. He was a member of Clifton First Baptist Church and Clifton Masonic Lodge #215 where he was Past Master. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Henard Hyleman; a son, Larry Hyleman and his wife Eileen of Spartanburg; a grandson, Zachary Hyleman and his wife Rebecca of Guatemala City, Guatemala; two granddaughters, Kristina Everhart and her husband Shea, and Katie Hyleman, all of Spartanburg; and a sister, Ann Wood of Boiling Springs. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Michael Bradley and the Rev. David Chastain. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clifton First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 135, Clifton, SC 29324. The family is at the home.
