Thomas Randolph Johnson

Thomas Randolph Johnson, 76, of Spartanburg, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was born April 22,1947 in Spartanburg., He was the son of the late Cecil and Iris McBee Johnson.

Thomas was a kind and selfless man, devoted to his family and friends.  He was an avid Gamecock and Panther Fan. He served in the US Navy on board the USS Belknap during Vietnam.  He retired from Spartan Foods after many years of service as director of the Creative Services Department.

Surviving are his wife, Garnet Kianos Johnson, his son, Thomas R. Johnson, II, his sister Tracie Johnson, and sister and brother in law, Connie Billings (John), one brother Joseph Johnson, all of Spartanburg.

No service is planned at this time.
