Thelma "T. J." Chism

Thelma “T. J.” Stevens Chism, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, December 30, 2022, at her home. Born October 10, 1943, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Stevens and the wife of the late Mel Chism.

Survivors include her brothers, Albert “Jim” Stevens (Jan) of Union, SC and Bobby Stevens (Marie) of Woodruff, SC, along with many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her two furry companions, LuLu and Charlie.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Cecil Stevens, Pauline Gilreath, Nancy Johnson, Leon Stevens, Leonard Stevens, and Ronnie Stevens.
