Ted Sizemore

Edward Earl "Ted" Sizemore, 76, of 220 Floyd Road, died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at his home. Born November 30, 1932, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late William Boyd Sizemore, Sr. and Onteen Henderson Sizemore. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Zamora of Spartanburg, and Wanda Powell of Woodruff; a son, Edward E. Sizemore, Jr. of North Carolina; a sister, Ann Thompson of Boiling Springs; two brothers, Aaron Sizemore and Terry Sizemore, both of Spartanburg; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn P. Brown; and two brothers, Wayne Sizemore and Bill Sizemore. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Sunset Memorial Park conducted by Mr. Terry Sizemore. The family will receive friends from 3:00-3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the graveside. The family is at the home of his daughter, Wanda Powell, 169 Frazier Road, Woodruff.
