Susie Kirby Stephens, 74, of Glendale, SC, died Sunday, December 9, 2018, at her home. Born November 18, 1944, in Humboldt, TN, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Gordon Kirby and Francis Copher Kirby. Susie loved taking care of her family and playing Bingo. She was a breast cancer survivor and made the best macaroni and cheese and chocolate pie. Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Paul Edward Stephens; children, Donald Todd Black (fiancé, Brandy Huey) and Danielle Sprouse Hipp (Jordan), all of Glendale, SC; grandchildren, Shane, Jessica, Austin, Haley, Dallas, Tiffany, William, Ethan, Korbyn, David, Timothy, and Jayden; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Carmen Kirby, Ronnie Kirby, Tommy Kirby, Melissa Parsons, and Terry Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 Thursday, December 13, 2018, in Springhill Memorial Gardens, 1011 S. Alabama Ave., Chesnee, SC 29323, by The Rev. Ralph Jett.
