Susan Clark

Susan Campbell Clark, 53, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born November 26, 1962, in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of Ann Sanders Campbell of Spartanburg, SC and the late Ruffner Campbell and widow of Randall Lee "Randy" Clark. A graduate of Spartanburg Technical College, Mrs. Clark was a kindergarten teacher for over 20 years at St. James United Methodist Church Pre-School. She was an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and a member of the choir. She received much joy in organizing Christmas parties for the faculty and staff at Woodland Heights Elementary School where she was also a Board member of the Woodland Heights PTO. In addition to her mother, survivors include her children, Kathryn Ann Clark and Daniel R. Clark of Spartanburg, SC; brother, David Campbell of Spartanburg, SC; two nephews; four nieces; one great-niece; her "partners in crime", Maggie Gainey and Sharon Parham; and her canine companion, Molly the Collie. A memorial service honoring her life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. Robert Brozina. Visitation will follow the service in the church Parlor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James United Methodist Church Pre-School, 213 North Lanford Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301; or Covenant Presbyterian Church, 880 W. O.
