Steven Wilson

Steven G. Wilson, 69, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, August 28, 2022 at SMC-Mary Black Campus. Born November 24, 1952 in Pelzer, SC, he was the son of the late Monroe Truman and Oleta Smith Wilson.

A US Army veteran, Mr. Wilson was a Staff Sargent with the Army National Guard. He was a graduate of Wren High School and was a member of the American Legion Post #2000, Newport, TN.

Survivors include his daughter, Amee Baty (Jeremy) of Spartanburg, SC; stepdaughters, Shannon McLaurin and Amanda Carson, both of Tennessee; eight grandchildren, and his brother, Bill Wilson of Williamston, SC. He was predeceased by his siblings, Terry Wilson, Charley Wilson and Brenda Gambrell.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Floyd’s Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29307. Funeral service will be at 4:00 pm at the chapel, conducted by Mr. Jeremy Baty.
