Steve Stepp, 69, of Cowpens, SC, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at his home. Born May 2, 1946, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Hobert and Rencie Gennie V. Frady Stepp. Mr. Stepp was owner of the Tanning Centers in Spartanburg and Gaffney and American Ind-Com Flooring. His hobby was collecting old cars and restoring them. He was a member of Converse Baptist Church and attended Pacolet Mills Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Messer Stepp; son, Josh Stepp of Cowpens, SC; daughter, Melanie King (John) of Spartanburg, SC; adopted son, Lee Burnette of Cowpens, SC; and special canine, Tiger. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Danny Stepp. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael C. Hutchins. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pacolet Mills Church of God, PO Box 78, Pacolet, SC 29373. The family is at the home.
