Shirley Beville Horton, 85, of Spartanburg, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born October 16, 1937, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late James and Ruby Lee Beville.
Shirley was a member of the United Baptist Church and was a retired commercial insurance agent.
Survivors include two sons, Andy Poole (Kelly), and Edward Poole; two grandchildren, Justin Poole (Kaley) and Cassidy Womack (Matt), two step grandchildren, Corry Alexander and Austin Jeffers; three great grandchildren, Hayes, Charlie, and Declyn; and one sister, Joan Gregory.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, June 12, 2023, at United Baptist Church, 7319 Valley Falls Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303, conducted by the Rev. Robert Emory. Visitation will follow.
Attention florists: Flowers may be delivered to the church after 1:00 PM Monday, June 12, 2023.
