Scott Edge

Francis Scott Edge, age 51, of Moore, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023.  He was born September 7, 1971, in Greer, SC.  He was the son of Perry Wayne Edge (Pam) of Spartanburg, and his mother, Janet Leigh Weisner of Liberty.

Scott was a media supervisor at Spartanburg Community College. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the Woodmen of the World. He participated in Civil and Revolutionary War re-enactments and was a collector of Civil War memorabilia.

Survivors include his parents, two brothers, two sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the graveside, Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, State Highway 417, Moore, SC 29369.  Scott’s funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, conducted by Pastor Ken Forrester.
