Sandra Cartee

Sandra Elaine (Arthur) Cartee was promoted from angel on earth to heavenly angel on August 31, 2022. God has lightened her load.  Life is a gift from God and Sandra’s life was a gift from God to everyone she graced with her loving and precious spirit.

She was loved deeply by her husband of sixty years, Joe L. Cartee. Her children, Cindy Cartee and Joe Cartee, II, adored her and referred to her as the best mom. An overwhelming number of family, friends, and Cannons Campground community loved her greatly. If you knew her, then you loved her. Many have said, “if someone doesn’t love SANDRA CARTEE then something is wrong with them.”

A rare and precious soul, Sandra was beautiful inside and out. She had a deep faith, loved her church, and lived for her family and friends. Sandra loved to be of service, help and love others. She had a sweet voice, a sweet spirit, a sweet heart, and a sweet tooth!  Sandra was loved beyond words and will be missed immeasurably.

Visitation will be 12:30 – 1:30 pm Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Cannons Campground United Methodist Church, 3450 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandra’s honor to the Food Pantry at Cannons Campground United Methodist Church or because Sandra loved sending cards, take a few minutes to mail cards to a loved one or shut-in to remind them of your love.

The family request that those attending wear mask and practice social distancing.
