Sally Maurice Eleazer, age 92, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Born on July 26, 1933, she was the daughter of the late James Benjamin and Edna Pearl Cannon Eleazer.
Sally was a lifelong member of the Spartanburg community and a proud graduate of Spartanburg High School, where she completed her education in 1952.
For an impressive 40 years, Sally dedicated her career as a textile researcher at Milliken Research, contributing her expertise and passion to the field. Known for her unwavering faith, she was a devoted member of the Wesleyan Church in Spartanburg. Sally found joy in spending countless hours on jigsaw puzzles, often retreating to her sunroom, which she lovingly referred to "the happy place."
Sally's warm personality and infectious smile made an impact on those around her. She cherished her family deeply, often expressing her love for her two sons, Louie "Kin" M. Fine, Jr. (Helen) of Waterloo, SC, and Bruce Fine (Connie) of Boiling Springs, SC. Her love continued to her grandchildren, Brady Tucker, Katey Balcom (Jason), Bruce Fine, Jr., and Charlie Fine (Leigh), as well as her beloved great-grandson and three great-granddaughters. Additionally, Sally is survived by her siblings: Betty Hagler of Huntsville, AL; Jean Tinsley of Spartanburg; Ann Hannon of Spartanburg; and JohnAllen Eleazer (Barbara) of Poplar Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James Benjamin Eleazer.
Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, February 19, 2026, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, located at 2075 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The funeral service will follow, in the chapel at 1:00 PM. Sally will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Services will be conducted by the Rev. James Henderson.
Sally's presence will be sorely missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
