Ryan Doyle Boggs

Ryan Doyle Boggs, 43, of Moore, passed away on Wednesday morning, March 19, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Ryan was born on April 29, 1981, in Spartanburg, a son of Sara Nell Dalnodar Boggs of Spartanburg and the late Doyle Willard Boggs, Jr.

Ryan was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Spartanburg. He was a 2003 graduate of Furman University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance. He was the Human Resources Coordinator for Academic Affairs at The University of South Carolina-Upstate.

Along with his mother, Ryan is survived by his brother, Jay W. Boggs (Bridget) of Leesburg, VA; his sister, Carrie Nell Burdett (Chip) of Piedmont, SC; 4 nieces and 1 nephew.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. David R. Whitman. The family will receive friends following the memorial service until 7:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
