Ruth Keller Tweed

Ruth Laney Keller Tweed, 83, of Spartanburg, passed away on Sunday morning, December 3, 2023. She was born on March 6, 1940, in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter of the late Carold and Eula Byrd Keller. 

Ruth was a lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a longtime employee of Hoechst Fibers and later worked with Canteen Corporation. 

Surviving are her daughters, Amanda L. Mashburn and Patti A. Mashburn; her grandchildren, Ian Sherwood (Jessica), Erin Sherwood, Ryan Sherwood, Dylan Sherwood, Joey Teague, and Erica Mashburn; and 6 great-grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her son, Don Mashburn, and a grandson, Graham Teague. 

Ruth will be remembered and laid to rest in a service for her family at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boxer Butts and Other Mutts, 108 Schermerhorn Lane, Arden, NC 28704.
