Ruth Easler Lowe

Lillian Ruth Easler Lowe, 92, of Spartanburg, passed away on Saturday morning, September 5, 2026, at Terra Bella. Ruth was born on October 23, 1933, a daughter of the late Hazel Loree Barnette Easler and General Gordon Easler.

Ruth was a US Air Force veteran and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband, Jack Allen Lowe; her adored son, Mitch Lowe; and two brothers and two sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Survivors include her two nieces, Von Berry (Mike) and Donna Burdette; and a host of church friends and fellow residents at Terra Bella. Ruth especially loved her visits from her great-grand nephews, Luke and Jax Berry.

A graveside service will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 635 Mt. Pleasant Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Pastor Daniel Kuhr.

The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted and that memorials be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 1850 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
