Ruth Hyder

Ruth Sanders Hyder, 85, died October 22, 2021 at Terra Bella Assisted Living.  Mrs. Hyder was born August 19, 1936, in the Asbury Community of Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Anna Camby Sanders and the wife of the late Earl Harmon Hyder.

Survivors are son, Steven Earl Hyder and fiancé Britni Pruitt of Spartanburg; brother, Kenneth Sanders of Prosperity, SC, and sister, Ila Owens of Inman, SC.  She was pre-deceased by a granddaughter, Hannah Page Hyder and two sisters, Peggy Jean Youngblood and Janice Babb.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Hawkins Family Cemetery, Hawkins Road, Union, SC, 29379.  Conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Cash.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 901 S. Pine St., Spartanburg, SC, 29302.
