Ruby Geneva Padgett Wilson, 92, of Boiling Springs, died Monday, February 12, 2024, at the home of her daughter in Starr, SC. A native of Sheldon in Beaufort County, she was born on August 30, 1931, a daughter of the late Harry and Lila Bennett Padgett and wife of the late Dennie R. Wilson, Sr.
She was a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving is her daughter, Judy W. Evans (Roger) of Starr; son, Ralph Wilson of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Derek Evans, Cassie Palacino (Stephen) and Lee Zimmerman (Brandi); great grandchildren, Nathan Palacino, Olivia Palacino, Cason Zimmerman and Baker Zimmerman, a special niece, Kelly Brown and other nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Wilson Zimmerman; sisters, Doris DeLoach, Alice Bamond and Karen Brown.
A cryptside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex conducted by Mr. Jerry Bridges.
