Ruby Tripp

Ruby Ann Woodcock Tripp, 75, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Magnolia Manor-Spartanburg. Born July 23, 1936, in West Pelzer, SC, she was the daughter of the late Liston L. "LL" and Louise Shealy Woodcock. Ruby was a member of Spartanburg ARP Church, a member of the choir, and Eastern Star. She was a former manager of Harry C. White Manor and a graduate of Palmetto High School. Survivors include her husband, Charlton Lynn Tripp; sons, Brian Lynn Tripp and Brent Eric Tripp, both of Spartanburg; brother, Frank "Pete" Woodcock of West Pelzer; and sisters, Doris Lawless of West Pelzer, Pearl Schillings of Columbia, and Bobbie Faulkner of Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Friday, February 3, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM , in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Peter A. Waid. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
