Roy Wilson Turner, 84, of Spartanburg, died Monday, November 13, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Spartanburg, he was born on April 16, 1939, a son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Rose Emory Turner and the husband of the late Irene Bridges Turner.
He was a former owner of Roy’s Used Car lot and savage yard and served in the US Marines.
He is survived by his companion, Angie E. Henderson; brother, Paul Edward Turner; numerous grandchildren and was predeceased by two sisters, Carolyn Tapp and Hazel Cash.
Per his request, no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
