Ronald Clark

Ronald Eugene Clark, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 11, 1935, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late George William and Maude Phillips Clark and husband of 60 years to the late Eva Nell Sullivan Clark. Mr. Clark was a U. S. Army veteran and retired from textile sales. He was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and a former member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was also the past secretary for Westview Fairforest Fire Department, a Mason and past Master of Forestview Lodge #379. He received an Associate's Degree from Rutledge Business School. Survivors include his daughter, Kim Ryan (Bill) of Duncan, SC; son, Michael Clark (Marie) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Sarah, Graeson, and Andrew; sister, Wanda Hyatt (Bobby) of Spartanburg, SC; special niece, Jayne Maloney; and close friend, Peggy Keller. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, Phil Clark and Richard Clark. A service honoring his memory will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Second Presbyterian Church, by The Rev. Jason Moore. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to cancer research; or Second Presbyterian Church, 438 N.
