Rita Hall

Rita Eileen Isaacs Hall, 65, of Cowpens, SC, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, Friday, March 18, 2022 at her residence. Born October 2, 1956 in Floyd County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Okey and Edith Reynolds Isaacs, and was the wife of the late Okie Hall.

Rita was a homemaker. She attended Cowpens Church of God. She was devoted to her Lord and Family, a wonderful cook and loved gardening.

Survivors include her son, Okie Craig Hall of Cowpens, SC, her daughters, Jamie N. Thornton (Jamie L. “Bubba”) of the home, and Amanda Clippard of Cowpens, SC; eight grandchildren, Alex, Hannah, Alexis, Payton, Josie, Brooke, Taylor and Jonathan; and her sister, Vivian Thornton of Chesnee, SC; and her furbabies, Max and Bella. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Leno, Leon, Palestine and Norma.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Monday, March 21, 2022 at Great Vision Church of God (formerly Cowpens Church of God), 138 Catawba Street, Cowpens, SC 29330, conducted by The Rev. Thomas Thornton. Burial will follow in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, 175 Cemetery Street, Cowpens, SC 29330.
