Richard David Price

Richard David Price, 88, of Spartanburg, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Richard was born on July 24, 1936, in Greenville, SC, a son of the late Joseph Lucius and Eunice Campbell Price. 

Richard was a graduate of the SC School for the Deaf and Blind; and retired from the Federal Government Printing Office in Washington, DC in 1998. 

Along with his parents, Richard was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Peggy Melton Price; two sons, Michael David Price and Barry Keith Price; and his two brothers, Edwin R. Price and Hugh A. Price, Sr. 

Surviving is his son, Mark Darren Price of Spartanburg, and his grandson, Richard Eli Price of Spartanburg. 

At Richard’s request, there will be no formal services held.
