Rhonda Hammond Pollard

Rhonda Hammond Pollard, 62, went to be with her Lord and Savior, June 2, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

She was the devoted wife of 33 years to Randal Pollard.  She was born on October 19, 1960 in Laurens, SC to the late Robert and Eunice Hammond.  A graduate of East Henderson High School, class of 1978, she later retired from the childcare industry after 25 years.

She is survived by her children James Dotson (Austin) of Greenville; Whitney Pollard (Toma) of Spartanburg; Amber Thomason (Brad) of Spartanburg; Katie Blanken of Inman; sister Stacy Gardner of Collierville, TN; her grandchildren Logan, Marley, and Rylan Thomason, Charlotte Tucker, and Karley and Paige Blanken; stepfather Mike Burke, stepsister Jennifer Burke, and sister-in-law Kim Hammond.  She was preceded in passing by her brother Michael Hammond.

The family is at Rhonda’s residence.

A memorial service will be held June 10, 2023, at Cross Hill Community Church; 180 Wingo Heights Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Visitation will be held from 1:00 –1:45PM, and a funeral service will follow at 2:00PM
