Reba Lucille Moore Cookson, 72, died Friday, February 12, 2016, at her home. Born March 11, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Winnie Lou Shipman Moore and widow of the late T. C. Owens. Mrs. Cookson was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Club and an avid bowler Survivors include her sons, Chris Anthony Owens of Inman, SC, Jeffrey Scott Owens (Crystal D. Owens) of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughters, Heather Owens, Ashley Echols (Stephen) and Alexandria Owens all of Spartanburg, SC, and Kristen Owens Smith (Brad) of Anderson, SC; great-grandchildren, Makenzie Wilds of Spartanburg, SC, Ashlyn Smith and Kyndall Smith both of Anderson, SC, Preston Echols and Conner Echols both of Spartanburg, SC and sister, Hazel Wilson of Boiling Springs, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one sister and three brothers. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with services following at 3:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Reggie Parker. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family will be at the home.
