Raymond Kelly

Raymond Wesley Kelly, 71, husband of Dale Laflin Kelly, died July 13, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born July 16, 1950 in Washington, DC to the late Cecil R. and Agnes Schaefer Kelly, he was retired from Tietex International.

Ray had a passion for music of almost all genres, but mostly rock. You’d be hard pressed to find a performer or band he didn’t know something about.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by brothers, Sam Kelly of Hobe Sound, Florida, Charles Kelly and Robert Kelly, both of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by a sister, Cathy Blackwell.

Memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to the charity of one’s choice.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
