Raejean Lipscomb

RaeJean Livingston Lipscomb, 72, of Cowpens, SC, died Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 8, 1949 in Wichita, KS, she was the daughter of the late Ray Lamar and Louise White Livingston.

RaeJean was a proud graduate of the University of Delaware and owner of Living Stones Family Services. She was a former member of First Baptist Spartanburg and participated in the Sanctuary Choir. She was a current member of Cowpens First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Ted Lipscomb; daughters, Amanda Brewington (Mark) and Suzanne Patel (Ruchir); grandchildren, Riley Brewington, Connor Brewington, Niam Patel and Dev Patel; sisters, Beth Murphy and Marsha Livingston; and her father-in-law, Terrell Lipscomb, Sr. She was predeceased by her parents; mother-in-law, Violet Lipscomb; and brother-in-law, Robert Murphy.

Visitation will be 10:00 – 10:45 am Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Cowpens First Baptist Church, 108 W. Church Street, Cowpens, SC 29330. A Memorial service will be at 11:00 am at the church, conducted by The Rev. Kermit Morris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cowpens First Baptist Church Building Fund, 108 W Church Street, Cowpens, SC 29330.
