Peggy dedicated 25 years of her professional life to PYA, Monarch, exemplifying commitment, and hard work throughout her career. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Lexington. Peggy’s interests were diverse; she loved traveling, shopping, and was a lifelong supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks. For 45 years, Peggy and Gene were dedicated Gamecock Club members and football season ticket holders, sharing their enthusiasm for the team with countless friends and family.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Gene Thomas Howe; her daughter, Lisa Howe Mordecai (Baker); her son, Timothy Howe; and her cherished granddaughters, Caroline Mordecai and Caitlin Mordecai. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Essie Harper and brother, James Blanton.
